Scope: the Android free domestic edition 2.2.0 disclosures apply to that version. Older versions depend on their actual features. This page does not assert that a version is available in stores.

Bunny Metronome (web, WeChat mini-program, iOS / Android) is a no-account tool. There is no sign-up or account-based profile; locally saved practice data is described below.

Local preferences

The product saves BPM, meter, sound mode, volume, language, haptic and keep-awake preferences on the device (web localStorage, mini-program storage, iOS UserDefaults, Android SharedPreferences). We have no account-based cross-platform cloud-sync service. OS-managed Android backup or device transfer may carry practice preferences when enabled by the user. Android CN 2.2.0 excludes privacy choices from backup/transfer; a restored device must make its own choice. Ordinary same-package upgrades retain preferences; clearing app data removes local preferences and choices.

Optional sound pack

The iOS / Google Play and Huawei IAP-enabled “Sound Workshop” is a one-time optional product (SKU studio.weichao.jpq.soundpack). Default voice counting and the basic clicks stay free. Purchase and Restore purchases are recorded by Apple StoreKit, Google Play Billing or Huawei In-App Purchases. The payment UI is provided by the system store; this app does not collect credit-card or payment details itself. We do not keep a user table and cannot share one receipt across stores.

Network

Android free domestic edition: offline choice and local diagnostics

This section applies to the free Android domestic edition 2.2.0, without claiming store availability. First launch offers “Agree and continue” or “Not now, use offline”. Back selects offline use, never agreement. Before a choice, no playback service is bound and no store adapter is created. Offline use permits local beats, tempo, meter, sounds and haptics without a store adapter or new diagnostic recording. The choice is stored locally and can be changed under Settings → Privacy choices; reopening the choice pauses playback and closes the old store session.

After agreement, local diagnostics record fixed event codes and BPM, beat count, mode and playing/sample-ready state. Reports also include app version, build, channel and Android API version. Reports include at most 80 events from the previous 24 hours, pruning expired events on read/update. They contain no device identifier, account, raw exception stack or store transaction receipt, and are not uploaded automatically. Switching offline stops new recording but does not immediately delete previously recorded files; no timed erasure is promised while the app sits offline. While agreed, records can be cleared in Diagnostics & Feedback. Clearing app data in system settings removes local preferences, choice and diagnostics at any time.

Only an explicit Send action hands a report and the issue description you enter to your selected system share/email app. The request prefills the support address lazywc@gmail.com. You can inspect, change or cancel the recipient; opening a share sheet does not prove sending or delivery to support. Full-policy/support links open your browser, where the website disclosures apply.

Sharing a beat by your choice

The home Share action hands a website link containing the current BPM, meter and sound-mode parameters to your selected system sharing app. It does not attach plan names, training history, self-ratings or diagnostic files. If you proceed, that app processes the content under its own rules; a recipient opening the link visits the website under the website disclosures. You control whether to proceed; the metronome does not automatically send this link in the background.

Sound loading is not recording

Beat and count sounds are MP3 files bundled in the installation package. “Loading samples” means decoding these files locally for playback, not capturing ambient audio, using the microphone or downloading sounds. A first Play tap can wait for decoding; another tap cancels the pending start. Entering the background or destroying the activity also cancels a not-yet-started request. Normal window rotation retains it, and already-running background playback is unchanged. A failed load or a wait beyond 20 seconds shows an error and permits retry.

Android free domestic edition: local training plans and results

Starting Training saves named plans (tempo steps, seconds per stage, meter and sound mode), session timestamps, active playback time, completed/early-ended/interrupted status, last applied stage tempo and optional subjective self-ratings on this device. This is necessary local data for the feature you initiate, including in offline mode; it does not enable optional diagnostics or a store. Limits are 10 saved plans and 50 recent results. Delete individual plans/results or clear results in Training; clearing system app data deletes all of them. This data is excluded from Android backup/transfer and is not included in diagnostic/share reports. Existing opt-in playback diagnostics may still contain BPM/meter/mode, never plan names, plan contents, history or ratings.

Records time the app's playback session, not your playing accuracy or microphone input. Paused time is excluded; resume restarts at beat one. A process interruption recovers only the last saved checkpoint (normally every 5 seconds or at a stage change), marks it interrupted and never auto-starts sound or credits time while absent. A delayed stage that cannot be applied safely ends as interrupted. OS scheduling and sound hardware can affect playback; records are not acoustic measurements.

Children

The app is suitable for music beginners and does not collect personal data from children under 13. No UGC, no social features.
